***FYI ANAMOSA RESIDENTS*** BRING WATER BILL TO SHOW PROOF OF RESIDENCY
City Wide Cleanup - Saturday April 01, 2023 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Anamosa residents may bring refuse & unwanted items to the city lot at 1210 Walworth Avenue on Saturday, April 01, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM (dumping before and/or after the designated hours is prohibited).
Items accepted:
Junk, rubbish, odds & ends, furniture including sofas, rockers, recliners, mattresses, bicycles, bed springs, lawn mowers, swing sets, cabinets, old doors, screens, flooring and anything made up of primarily metal excluding appliances.
Items NOT accepted :
No garbage or yard waste (YARD WASTE items can always be taken to the city brush pile by the Wastewater Plant.), no electronic devices (i.e. TV's, VCRs, computers, radios, batteries), no construction or demolition materials (i.e. bricks, concrete, asphalt, shingles, lumber, siding, dry wall), no liquids, no hazardous materials, and no appliances.

Calendar Event: Spring Flea Market, Antique, and Collectible Show being Sunday, April 30th at the Jones County Fairgrounds in Monticello.
This show was previously held for the past 37 years at the Maquoketa, Iowa fairgrounds but has been moved permanently to the Monticello fairgrounds.
This is one of Iowa's largest flea markets with over 100 exhibitors (indoor and outdoor, weather permitting) selling a vast array of antiques and vintage items.
There will also be great food trucks on site!  8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Admission is only $4, with anyone 10 years and under free. Parking is also free.
For buyers wanting to get an early start, early bird shoppers are welcome between the hours of 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM for an admission of $10 per person.
